Albion Swords launched their European branch and website on Oct 19, 2006. This means lowered prices since customers no longer have to pay double VAT and custom fees.
Last year Albion increased their prices which made some buyers look for cheaper alternatives, but in February Albion declared that they were branching off to Europe and hopes went up it would lead to a reduction in prices. Today Europeans will be able to buy swords at fairly the same price as Americans.
Albion Europe is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is run by collector Sören Niedziella, who says on his website that he already has about 60 swords in stock.
