At the Dreynschlag event in Vienna 11-13 february (the currently biggest HEMA event in the world, with over 200 participants) Andreas Engström helped his team "Die Lungenfuchse" to victory in the team tournament in military sabre, and got the prize for most successful individual fighter in the tournament.
Andreas fought a total of 16 matches and won 14 of them, and won all his matches in the deciding finals round.
The tournament had 28 participants from all over Europe, and was organized by Peter Zillinger of Klingenspiel in Vienna. Second place in the team tournament went to the team from the Academy of Historical Fencing (headed by Nick and Michael Thomas).
