Anders Linnard placed second in both the Feder Franco-Belgian tournament and in the Nylon tournament at the 10th annual HEMAC gathering in Dijon, 2011. Axel Pettersson, who won the Dijon tournament in 2009 and 2010, placed third in the Feder tournament.
In the Feder tournament Franco-Belgian rules were used, which is a sort of King of the hill format based on historical rules use during medieval an rennaissance times. Anders Linnard won 18 consecutive fights in the hot Dijon sun, and totaled over 20 wins in the end, beating every other fighter on the field at least once. In the end Lazlo from Ars Ensis, Hungary won the Feder tournament.
The Nylon tournament presented over 60 fighters this year, making it one of the largest competitions in the world. Winner was Gaetan Marain.
